I will say I have some criticisms though. Seriously, spoilers ahead, if you want to avoid them, turn back now It was like a reminder of why I love reading. My life has been chaotic in recent months so I haven't had much opportunity to read, and haven't done much reading, but once I started reading this book I absolutely devoured it. Like it would be getting later and later at night and I knew I need to get up for work in the morning, I'd keep glancing at the clock with increasing anxiety, but I had such a hard time forcing myself to stop reading. I know it's cliche to say it but I really did have trouble putting it down. (as a side note, I should clarify that I read the 1990s updated version of the book, as it was intended by the author, rather than the earlier edition with the changes forced upon him by the publisher) I did some searching on Reddit and couldn't find any threads specifically discussing the book, so I thought I'd start such a thread. It arrived a few days ago and I just finished reading it tonight. As I've long found rabies to be a morbidly fascinating subject, I was immediately interested and ordered the book.
